How was your overall experience with C4L Academy?
"This program was really special to me, not only was it very convenient for me as I was able to stay up some late nights to pass some of the sections of the material that I was given. I also was provided with great tutorial videos in each section of every chapter up to the final exams to be able to pass with assuring success.
C4L Academy had an awesome support system as well. There were times in some sections I would get really discouraged but I was encouraged to ask support for help and they sent me some awesome resources to look into the really helped pave the way to my success and I was able to finish strong.
If it wasn’t for C4L Academy I wouldn’t of finished, so thank you C4L Academy for being patient with me and giving the opportunity to complete this program."
What kind of support or feedback did you receive? Was it helpful?
"I received a lot of help and encouragement. The help was whenever I had trouble accessing assignments or understanding them. The encouragement is the help that really pushed me to continue."
What was it like for you on this journey to earning your high school diploma? What does this mean for you moving forward?
"Earning my high school diploma has been far from easy. What originally made me drop out was covid and being unable to stay connected to the internet as well as my deteriorating mental health at that time. After 5 years of battling myself and two chronic conditions, I decided to self reflect and realized I wasn’t anywhere I wanted to be and decided I needed to take action. I finally found the resources including C4L Academy that would help me achieve the goals of where I wanted to be.
Even after these accomplishments I was still going through a lot while attending both a vocational program and C4L, I also had to work while attending and doing school work for both schools on top of maintaining my chronic conditions and mental health. I did have days I struggled and thought to myself “I’m never going to be able to do this” but I never let those negative thoughts take action over my dreams and goals. With this determination I set for myself I finally did my very last project, submitted it and waited for the grade. The second I saw it was graded, I felt relief and feelings of accomplishment.
I don’t think I would have kept going if it weren’t for those who helped encourage me to keep going. What this means for me is a lot more than words can describe. I have struggled my whole life in many aspects and have worked so hard these past few years to get myself back on track with life and to try and find a new appreciation for life. During this journey I have overcome so much and get to celebrate this victory.
Going forward I can now say “I did that” and I no longer have to feel shame or guilt when it comes to educational background checks and being chosen over someone else who graduated because I did too."

"I truly appreciated the timely responses when I got lost or confused. Also, the encouragement kept me going."
What was it like for you on this journey to earning your high school diploma? What does this mean for you moving forward?
"After dropping out of GED classes over and over again in the time span of 14 years, finally accomplishing this goal has opened doors job wise."
Is there anything else you would like the the staff here at C4L Academy to know about?
"Thank you so much to my Mentor for all your help and encouragement! You honestly made it so much easier to keep at it and finish strong!! Thank you!!!"
What were your thoughts on the curriculum/course information, assignments, etc. Did anything in particular stand out?
"The one that stood out the most was Career Exploration, how everything was broken down to teach me what I should do especially when looking for a job or writing a cover letter. It helps because it’s something that I didn’t know and I am a 30 year old woman..."
What part of the program did you enjoy the most?
"I enjoyed doing Economics and Algebra. Economics was something fun for me because there were a lot of things I didn’t know but now that I do, I’m gonna use that any way I can."

"I just wanna thank you guys so much for this opportunity of getting my high school diploma and helping me through the process!"

"I received help through your guys’ video clips. They’re in each subject and it was very helpful and the feedback was also."

"Your guys’ curriculum was very easy to navigate through my journey through the different courses."
What was it like for you on this journey to earning your high school diploma? What does this mean for you moving forward?
"For me this opens the doors for more opportunities so I can get my foot in the door achieving this accomplishment, moving forward for myself, and landing a better job and so on!!!"
