Our curriculum is built for your life now, not how it was when you were in school
Unlike the other online schools who's courses are designed to get you into college, our courses are designed to increase your confidence and provide opportunities by using the challenges from real life to create the material. As you earn your diploma, you’ll learn valuable skills and tools that you can use immediately in everyday life.
"I found the Science, English, and Math to be helpful with my life. The English was most helpful for me because I had trouble forming bigger sentences when speaking at work."
You have the freedom to take our courses in any order
Our courses recognize that you know what's best for you. We respect your ability to choose your own path, rather than telling you what to do. You don’t have to complete our curriculum in order: if it makes more sense to you to take one course now and another later then we make that option available to you.
"I would go about the course in a random order because whenever I got stuck on a course, I’d go to the next one and then come back. The courses were self explanatory. The videos really taught me a lot."

"I was not sure how to take C4L’s online school because I work all the time. They said I can do it on my phone and that really helped me. I worked on it during my lunch breaks and complete it within 6 months."

Rosemary obtained her high school diploma from C4L in August 2021. Here she shares her experiences with us about what it was like to finally be able to say “I graduated!”
What made you want to get your high school diploma?
Actually taking care of my daughter for the last 13 years, because she was born with a cleft lip, cleft palate. So I've taken care of her for the last 14 years of her life. That's why I pursued going back to school because I got my medical assistant's, and I went to get my diploma as well.
How has life changed since you graduated?
It opened up a lot of doors for me because nowadays you need your diploma. And me becoming certified for medical assistant, it's going to open a lot more doors for me.
What was going through your head when you chose to enroll?
At the time I was uncertain that I wasn't smart enough, didn't have the time, but it was always excuse after excuse after excuse.
And finally, just one day I woke up and said enough is enough. I have to do this for me and for my kids to give them a better life. So I got to stop being lazy and focus on me since I focused my last 14 years on my daughter's life and now she don't need me.
What motivated you to complete the program?
Having the support of my kids, always telling me, "Mom, you can do it. Don't give up." Because there were times where I was ready to throw the towel, and my daughter, the one with the trach, she would tell me, "Mom, no, you've gotten so far. Don't give up."
And with those words of encouragement from my kids, I just I couldn't give up on them.
What would you say to your past self?
I wish I would have had somebody to push me harder and not given up so early in life.
