Judy Cunningham, M.A.

Chairman of the Board

Judy Cunningham is a professional educator with a broad background in instructional practices, school design, and professional learning communities. A former school principal, she is currently President of Cunningham Education Consulting, working with superintendents, principals and site leadership teams to develop all elements of an effective learning community with students first. Judy has worked with teams from over 100 schools in nine California counties.

As a principal, she served as a formal teacher trainer and school administrator mentor for

UCI, CSUF, National U, and Chapman U; a National Faculty Member with the Coalition of Essential Schools (Brown University); a Thompson Fellow sponsored by the Danforth Foundation; and an Annenberg Coach.

Judy is published in ACSA Journal and is recipient of multiple leadership awards.

As a Chairman and Founding Board Member, Judy was instrumental in the development of C4L Academy’s Strategic Plan. She is passionate about C4L Academy’s Mission to unlocking the potential of those who have not yet succeeded in a traditional setting, so they may be contributing members of society.
